About CODEX ONE Z
Under the lights of the world’s most prestigious arenas, Codex One Z established himself as a true icon.
Partnered with Christian Ahlmann, he claimed major victories like the CSI5* Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen, GCT Grand Prix of Valkenswaard, Hamburg and Berlin, and triumphed in World Cups in Stuttgart and Basel. He represented Germany at the 2012 London Olympics, the 2014 World Equestrian Games and contributed to team silver at the 2013 European Championships. Nearly a decade at 5* level, Codex One Z earned over €1.5 million before retiring in 2019.
While Codex One Z’s career limited his availability at stud, his influence is widely recognized. He has six approved sons, including the rising star Codex Diaz Z, who sold for a record €1,000,000 at the 2024 Zangersheide Quality Jumpers – Powered by MBA, and the late I Am Codex, a 1.60m performer with Doron Kuipers. Other top-level progeny at the highest level include Curious George, who reached 1.65m under Laura Kraut, and Codex S, who was 4th the CSIO4* Grand Prix of Sopot and a contender at the 2025 European Championships in La Coruña.
