About DEVIL 2000 Z
A rising talent in Zangersheide’s next generation of sires, Devil Z combines exceptional natural ability with a pedigree stacked with Grand Prix power. Owned by elite riders Christian Ahlmann and Daniel Deusser, there are high expectations surrounding the future of this expressive young stallion.
Bred from two pillars of modern breeding, he is sired by Dominator 2000 Z combined with the influential China Touch Hero, dam of multiple Grand Prix performers and six approved stallions - including Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero, sire of Dourkhan Hero Z (page….), and Akarad Hero Z (page …), who shined at 1.60m with Pieter Clemens and now is a fresh addition to the Zangersheide stallion collection.
His granddam, Laska III, produced five international Grand Prix horses, among them Simon Delestre’s Nations Cup winner Tinka’s Hero Z and Julien Epaillard’s multiple GP winner Gracieux du Pachis.
The first foals by Devil Z are modern and athletic, with exceptional movement and refined type, qualities displayed well by his son, Denver de L’Oize Z, crowned Vice Champion at the French Zangersheide Foal Championships in 2025.
