About DIEU MERCI VAN T&L Z
Few stallions have transitioned so quickly from headline-making sport horse to sought-after sire as Dieu Merci van T&L Z. He built his reputation on the Belgian circuit with a string of impressive results, crowned by victory in the CSI3* Grand Prix of Beervelde in 2019 with Frédéric Vernaet. Later, under Canadian colours, he added a podium finish in the LGCT 5* Grand Prix of Doha with Eric Lamaze and a brilliant win in the CSIO5* Rolex Grand Prix of La Baule with Beth Underhill in 2022. In the same year, Hippomundo ranked him as the leading stallion of his generation in terms of prize money earned by his offspring.
Today, Dieu Merci van T&L Z has over forty offspring competing at 1.45m to 1.60m level, led by performers at the highest tier such as Diana du Plevau Z, who secured second place in the CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix in Doha in 2025 with Khaled Abdulrahman Almobty, and D’Amour DMV Z, a regular on the Global Champions League circuit with Wilm Vermeir at 5* 1.60m level. Daido van’t Ruytershof has been a prolific winner, claiming more than seven ranking classes at 1.45m in 2024 and continued into 2025 with victories in the 3* Grand Prix of Vancouver and Del Mar.
Dieu Merci van T&L Z produces modern and beautiful models with textbook technique, scope, and balance. Above all, he passes on a willing, intelligent mindset and exceptional rideability - making his offspring highly sought-after partners on the international stage.
