When you choose Kassander van ’t Roosakker Z, you connect directly to the beating heart of the world-famous Roosakker family. Bred by Echo van ’t Spieveld out of Electra van ’t Roosakker, a 1.60m World Cup and Grand Prix performer with Jos Lansink and Janika Sprunger, Kassander descends in a direct line to the legendary Usha van ’t Roosakker. His full sister, Kaprice van ’t Roosakker, claimed Grand Prix victories under Kent Farrington, and while an early injury curtailed Kassander’s own sport career, it paved the way for an exceptional role in breeding.
From his first crop of just five foals, his son Picobello van ’t Roosakker shines at 5* 1.60m level with a stellar performance at the 2025 World Cup in Stuttgart, back-to-back wins in Samorin and a Nations Cup podium in Brussels with the Swiss team. Kassander’s second crop speaks volumes: seventeen out of twenty-four horses are competing at 1.45m to 1.55m level, including stars such as Kasbah Queen Hero Z, Qerbi van’t Ruytershof, and Niels Bruynseels’ Q-Sander van de Vosberg, who was on the podium at the 5* GCL in Riesenbeck. The approved Reflex van’t Roosakker won the 2025 Belgian Championship for eight-year-olds. With younger generations climbing the ranks and eleven approved sons, Kassander’s influence is undeniable.
His offspring are athletic, with a powerful canter, scope and exceptional ring mentality. Kassander van’t Roosakker Z now stands as a torchbearer of the Roosakker dynasty, leaving an indelible mark through the success of his progeny.
