A victory in the CSI2* GP of Kronenberg, a 2nd place during a 1.50m class in Geesteren and a 3rd place during the CSI4* GP of Pinneberg... These are just a few of the results that the Dutch rider Gerben Morsink already achieved this year with his 14-year-old home-bred stallion Navarone Z, a son of Nabab de Rêve and this in combination with Amor. Last weekend that list of top results was expanded again, because at Indoor Friesland in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, the duo jumped to a podium place during the CSI3* GP on Saturday evening. Morskink and Navarone Z had already started their show on Thursday with a 5th place in the 1.50m class and during the CSI3*  GP they were one of the 10 combinations that managed to secure a place in the jump-off. They once again delivered a flawless performance and a finishing time of 37.16 seconds earned them a 2nd place in the rankings.

Next to Morsink and Navarone Z, his compatriot Loewie Joppen also qualified for the jump-off with his 12-year-old gelding Havel van de Wolfsakker Z (Hos d'O x Libero H – B: B. van der Kloet), with whom he already achieved a 5th place during the CSI3* GP of St. Tropez earlier this month. Joppen and Havel van de Wolfsakker Z received 4 penalty points, what was good for an 8th place in the rankings.

Another striking combination at Indoor Friesland was the Dutch rider Kevin Jochems with the 8-year-old mare Looks Good de Liebri Z, a daughter of Lector vd Bisschop and Bentley vd Heffinck who was bred by Lieven Bruyneel. Jochems and Looks Good de Liebri Z were already good for a 6th place during the 1.40m class on Thursday and during the 1.40m class on Saturday they managed to secure a 3rd place in the rankings. His compatriot Harrie Wiering jumped to a 7th place in this 1.40m class on Saturday with the 14-year-old chestnut stallion Take A Chance On Me Z, a son of Taloubet Z and Aldatus Z who was bred with us at Stoeterij Zangersheide.

Who also managed to achieve a podium place was the Dutch rider Lars Kersten with the 10-year-old stallion Boebka Vh Marienshof Z (Balou du Rouet x Clinton – F: Stal Marienshof). During the 1.50m high GP Qualifier on Friday, Kersten and Boekba vh Marienshof Z managed to keep all the poles in the cups and this performance also earned them a 3rd place in the rankings.

Finally, there was also a 3rd place for Gerben Morsink with the 9-year-old chestnut mare Carina Z (Carthino Z x Guidam – F: J.R.J. Evenhuis & L.G. Morsink). They managed to achieve this 3rd place during the 1.40m high Speed & Handiness class on Friday evening.
